KARE 11ST ANTHONY, Minn. — Police are investigating after an argument escalated into a shot being fired into the ceiling of the entryway at a Cub Foods in St. Anthony Sunday night.
St. Anthony Police said in a press release that officers were called to the store on Silver Lake Road Northeast just before 11:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they learned that a customer had confronted two other customers who may have been trying to shoplift.
At one point, one of the customers pulled a handgun, pointed it at one of the customers, and then fired a shot into the ceiling, according to police.
No injuries were reported, but police say the suspect fled the scene on foot and has not been located.
