A video of a small fire tornado was caught on camera in Portugal as the country battled a series of wildfires amid another heatwave.
Over the weekend, Rui Ventura, an expert on wildfires management, captured the footage on his mobile phone in Moimenta da Beira in northern Portugal.
The fire in Moimenta da Beira is now considered under control, but several others were of concern on Monday.
Around 2,000 firefighters are on the ground to try to tackle the flames in several hotspots across the country.
On Sunday temperatures reached 43 degrees Celsius (109 Fahrenheit) in some areas of the country and are expected to continue over 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) in several parts, particularly inland.
The country is under an extreme weather alert until Wednesday due to a high risk of fires.
