Bob Moses will release its fourth studio album, Blink, on Oct. 17. In tandem with the news, the pair have released the album’s lead single, the lush, soaring “Last Forever.”

Coming out via AWAL, Blink follows 2022’s The Silence in Between. The new project was recorded between Los Angeles, where the duo’s Tom Howie lives, and New York City, where the group’s other half, Jimmy Vallance, resides. The pair initially passed ideas and demos back and forth through Dropbox and Discord, and then met up in cities including Toronto and Vancouver, B.C., to expand on the music in the studio.

“The album’s like a question: How do you reconcile the desire to have a meaningful life with the realization that it’s gone in an instant, that you can’t hold on to things for too long?” Howie says in a statement
