Jennifer Lopez just gave a masterclass in how to handle yourself gracefully when a cricket tries to crash your performance.

The singer, who is currently on tour, had an unwelcome guest onstage during her recent concert in Kazakhstan.

A video of the unplanned encounter, posted on the Instagram page for Lopez's On The JLo newsletter, shows the moment when the insect decides to invade the singer's personal space.

In the short clip, Lopez sings the final notes of a song as a cricket suddenly appears on her midsection. The oversized bug quickly makes its way up her costume until it reaches her neck.

Without flinching, the 56-year-old continues on like a pro and sends the cricket on its way as she flicks it off her neck in an elegant move.
