Trader Joe’s will open its first New Orleans location on Aug. 14, bringing 80 new jobs and a national grocery brand to the city’s Tulane Avenue corridor.

The 9,683-square-foot store, located at 2501 Tulane Ave. across from the VA hospital, will be the third Trader Joe’s in Louisiana. Doors open at 9 a.m. following a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Store Captain Rachelle Haddad-Martinez and her crew.
