A district court judge set a $50,000 bail with the condition to not interact with any children under the age of 18 for a woman who was charged with manslaughter after her 3-year-old daughter was found dead inside a vehicle in Milford on Sunday.
The mother, Kelly Brown, 40, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, faces a Class A felony for manslaughter. She appeared before District Court Judge Sean Ociepka at the Penobscot Judicial Center Monday afternoon.
Brown was arrested Sunday evening after her child was found dead in her Nissan Murano parked in the Freshies parking lot, according to the affidavit. The car had been parked there since 2 a.m. Brown told police she left the car at 2 p.m. while throwing away trash in the parking lot and did not return until 8:30 p.m. aft
