GLADWIN — A boil water advisory for residents on Chatterton Street between M18 and Cemetery Street has been lifted, the city announced Monday.

The advisory was issued Aug. 8 after officials notified residents of the need to boil water. Follow-up testing showed no coliform bacteria in the system, and corrective measures have been completed.

City officials said the water is now safe to drink and apologized for any inconvenience.
