If you are like the millions of people on Facebook, TikTok or Instagram, you already know the incredible visual appeal of Dubai Chocolate.

Chocolate and Nut Kingdom, located on Bardstown Road in Buechel, is seeking to turn heads by making its own.

According to owner Mohammad Abdel Rahman, though the concoction might look exotic, it’s actually quite simple.

“As long as you have the right stuff,” Rahman said. “It’s made out of pistachio, tahini, and a kind of shredded wheat called knafeh.”

At his shop, Rahman uses Dubai Chocolate on items such as ice cream, cheesecake, and even crêpes. So far, he’s been able to turn views into dollars, but he does have one request.

“Keep posting, don’t stop,” Rahman said. “I’ve been busy, but I’m not complaining.”
