LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man is facing multiple charges for stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from a store in 2023.
Charles Black, 35, was arrested Sunday. He's charged with engaging in organized crime and complicity to theft by unlawful taking between $1,000 and $10,000.
According to an arrest warrant, Black stole nearly $4,000 from Nordstrom Rack after multiple thefts between June 2023 and August 2023.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said Black was working with multiple co-defendants throughout the incidents. He's accused of working with others to resell the stolen merchandise for a profit.
All of the thefts were captured on surveillance video, and detectives identified Black through "investigative resources," the warrant added.
A judge has set Black's bond at $10,00
