A possible drowning incident on Treasure Island Beach on Monday afternoon prompted a multi-agency response and left a man’s condition unknown.
TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – A man was pulled from the water by bystanders on Treasure Island Beach this afternoon in what authorities are calling a possible drowning incident. The man’s current condition is unknown.
According to a press release from Treasure Island Fire Rescue, emergency crews were dispatched to the beach near 126th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Initial reports indicated that a male was found floating in the water and was brought to shore by good Samaritans.
