DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A GoFundMe has raised more than $130,000 for the family of Officer David Rose, who died in a confrontation with the shooter at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday in Atlanta.

The DeKalb County Police Department shared the fundraiser on Monday morning. It has a goal of $210,000.

"We mourn the loss of Officer Rose, killed in the line of duty while serving our community. A GoFundMe has been created to support his family during this difficult time. Please consider donating or sharing," DKPD wrote on X .
