CLEVELAND, Ohio -- An East Cleveland man accused of killing his brother and grandfather and then wounding two officers was given a $3 million bond Monday.

Aaron Sharp, 24, faces aggravated murder charges in the shooting deaths of his grandfather, Charles Roscoe, 82, and his brother, Erik Sharp, 22. He also faces felonious assault charges after police said he shot and wounded two East Cleveland patrolmen last week.

On Monday, Sharp appeared in East Cleveland Municipal Court, where Judge William Dawson set the bond for all of the charges at $3 million. Dawson declined a request by Sharp’s attorney to lower the bond amount.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury is expected to consider charges against him within days. At that point, he will enter his plea.
