SURREY, N.D. (KMOT) - The Surrey School District is looking to hire a one-year interim superintendent for this upcoming school year.
It comes after the school board made the decision to buy out the contract of Superintendent David Gerding last month.
The district said applicants must have a master’s degree in education, educational leadership or a related field, along with a valid superintendent certification or license.
The district also specified that the position is a one-year full-time contract with the possibility of extending to a regular contract.
Applications are due this Friday or until filled.
