The man wanted in an Aug. 5 Bryant shooting surrendered to authorities Sunday night to face multiple felony counts, a police news release states.

Steven Meredith, Jr., 20, turned himself in Sunday night, about four days after Bryant police publicly identified him as a suspect in a shooting on Chelsea Drive that left a man wounded in the leg, authorities said.

Authorities booked Meredith on felony counts of aggravated robbery, first-degree battery, theft of property and unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, the news release states. He was held in the Saline County jail Monday afternoon, an online inmate roster showed.
