A photo of the old RFK Stadium being demolished is doing the rounds on social media.
The former stomping grounds of the Washington Redskins is part of the broader RFK Campus, which includes The Fields sports complex.
The demolition has been ongoing for some time, but is being done gradually to minimize noise, dust, and other disturbances. The teardown began in January following a period of remediation and non-structural destruction.
