LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - No one needed to be taken to the hospital after a tree branch fell and went through the front windshield of a JCPS bus Monday afternoon.
Jeffersontown police said the incident happened in the 9600 block of Watterson Trail on school bus #1764.
Police said the bus driver was treated at the scene with very minor injuries. Nine to 10 students had ‘superficial scratches’ from the branch and broken glass, none of which were believed to require hospital treatment.
“Parents and guardians who wish to reunite with their child may do so at the Watterson Trail Church of Christ, located at 9607 Watterson Trail. Children will only be released once approved by JCPS officials, who are currently on scene,” Jeffersontown police said in a statement.
