GLENBURN, Maine (WABI) - Starting your own business can be challenging, even daunting for some.

Now, imagine doing it at the ripe old age of 10.

Joy Hollowell introduces us to the young entrepreneur behind Lovie’s Soap .

In just a few weeks, Loveanna will start the fifth grade. But she’s already learning about profit shares, balance sheets, and expenditures.

That’s because in just a few short months, this 10 year old has turned a soap making hobby into a business.

“My most popular is lavender,” says Loveanna. “And we’re doing seasonal scents. Like this summer’s was Sea Breeze.”

It all started with a soap making kit that Chelsea Guerin gave her daughter.

Loveanna then took those homemade soaps to school to try and sell them.
