Ohio’s field crops are moving along, excelling ahead of the five year average in some cases. According to USDA NASS for the Crop Progress and Condition report on August 11, 2025, 62% of corn has entered the dough stage, notably ahead of the 50% average. 1% of corn is dented in the state.

71% of soybeans are setting pods while 91% of oats are harvested, both right in line with the normal pace.
