Durham Police are investigating after one person was killed and another critically injured in a shooting at an apartment complex on Monday afternoon.

It happened just after 3 p.m. at Camden Pointe Apartments in the 600 block of E. Knox Street.

Officers found a man dead and a woman with life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to a hospital.

DPD said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

The investigation was ongoing and appeared to be an isolated incident, DPD said.
