THIS is the awkward moment a famous Colombian rapper stopped his concert to berate a mum for bringing her baby.

Maluma , 31, was performing in Mexico City when he suddenly spotted the tot in the crowd - prompting him to tell the mum off for "waving them around like they're a toy".

When the rapper was well into his show at Palacio de los Deportes in the Mexican capital over the weekend, he stopped the music to strike up a conversation with a mum.

The rapper, currently on his +Pretty +Dirty World Tour, said in Spanish: “With all due respect, how old are they?”

He continued: “A year old? Less? Do you think it’s a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f***ing high?

“That baby doesn’t even know what it’s doing here.”
