Where the good news shines

Two former Adams State players are trading their jerseys for whistles as Grizzlies women's basketball coach Mario Caetano announced that Angelline Nageak and Brooke Rodgers will join the program's coaching staff for the 2025-26 season.

Nageak, a five-year mainstay for the Grizzlies, scored over 1,000 career points and appeared in 105 games during her collegiate career. She will step into the role of assistant coach this season.

Rodgers is the second addition to the coaching staff, joining the program as a graduate assistant. A one-year transfer from Western New Mexico, Rodgers closed out her playing career as a Grizzly, appearing in 31 games and contributing 165 points and 118 rebounds.
