And why not? When a player makes a transcendent play, one that reshapes possibilities, it's going to linger and get discussed – and make no mistake: Cam Little 's reshaping kick got discussed around the Jaguars Monday.

"That was a special moment," Jaguars special teams coordinator Heath Farwell said.

Little, the Jaguars' second-year kicker, kicked a 70-yard field goal on the final play of the first half in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 preseason opener at EverBank Stadium Saturday. The kick would have broken the NFL record for longest field goal by four yards had it been a regular-season game – and, notably, the kick surprised few around the Jaguars.
