For one week in August, Winkler and Morden won’t just be small prairie cities — they’ll be the centre of Canadian softball.

From Aug. 13–17, the 2025 U15 Men’s and Women’s National Softball Championships will bring 30 of the country’s top youth teams and hundreds of athletes, coaches, and fans to Winkler and Morden for a week of high-calibre competition.

The event is a first for the region, and it’s unique in another way: Both the men’s and women’s tournaments will run side by side, thanks to the proximity of the two host cities.
