HOUSTON – Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of visiting Asma Gowher, a self-taught baker known for her beautifully designed gourmet desserts.

You might recognize Asma from her appearances on “Houston Life,” where she’s shared her recipes for trendy, modern French pastries. But this time, photojournalist Lenny Juarez and I met her right in her kitchen to get a closer look at the sweet story behind TRIFLES Gourmet Desserts .
