CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for three missing persons from Anderson County, S.C.

Officials said Victoria Renee Wells, 30, and her two sons Benjamin Wells, Jr., 4, and Brantley Wells, 7, were last seen in Carteret County on Sunday around 9 a.m. in the area of Highway 70 East and NC 101.

The sheriff’s office described Victoria Renee Wells as 5 feet, 6 inches in height and 130 pounds.

Deputies said the three were seen traveling in a gray 2005 Volkswagen Beetle with South Carolina license plate 4137SM in an unknown direction.
