On July 29, the rock band released a new demo collection with an exclamation stating, “out everywhere except Spotify (f--- Spotify), You can bootleg it if you wanna”. They elaborated further on their decision, which stemmed from CEO Daniel Ek’s investments in AI military technology. “A PSA to those unaware: Spotify CEO Daniel Eks invests millions in AI military drone technology,” wrote the band. “We just removed our music from the platform.
