TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says a teen has been arrested in connection with a school threat.

The PCSD says deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department School Resource Officer Unit were alerted to a threatening video circulating on social media this morning, August 11.

The video was reportedly created by a Mountain View High School (MVHS) student.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 16-year-old MVHS student had posted a video on YouTube containing threats directed at multiple students and faculty members. Deputies contacted the student suspected of posting the video, and he was arrested.

The student was charged with interference with an educational institution.
