SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A man person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting on Monday evening in South Bend.

Police say it happened in the 600 block of N. Walnut Street, which is between Lincoln Way West and LaPorte Avenue.

According to police, the man suffered minor injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.

It’s unclear at this time if any arrests have been made, but police on scene tell WNDU 16 News Now there is no threat to the public.
