LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Los Banos family is mourning the loss of a husband and a son after they crashed into an aqueduct in Stanislaus County.

The Ramirez family is mourning the loss of Raul Ramirez and Aaron Ramirez, dad and son. They leave behind Elvia and Isaac Ramirez, Aaron's mom and brother. GoFundMe officials confirmed the Ramirez family is from Los Banos.

The crash happened on Aug. 5. The California Highway Patrol told YourCentralValley.com's sister station, FOX40, that two people, later identified as Raul Ramirez and his son, 15-year-old Aaron Ramirez, were traveling north on I-5 when Raul made an "unsafe turning movement."
