PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find the two people responsible for a gunpoint robbery in North Philadelphia last month.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the robbery happened on July 5 around 5:30 a.m. near 32nd Street and Allegheny Avenue. The victim told police that as she was getting into her car, two men approached the victim and robbed her at gunpoint.

Police said the men fled eastbound on Allegheny before reappearing a short time later. The men allegedly tried to take even more items from the victim.

According to investigators, the men got away in a Mercedes sedan, last seen heading eastbound through an alley towards 31st Street.
