WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A Lafayette man is facing charges for allegedly trying to kidnap a woman and her children while working as a ride-share driver.

The woman told police she had requested a ride with Uber Sunday, Aug. 10 to go to the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park in the 4400 block of North River Road in West Lafayette. According to police, the woman and her four young sons were picked up by an Uber driver near SR 26 and Interstate 65.
