Two of President Donald Trump's most fervent supporters clashed Monday night on social media.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and extreme right-wing influencer Laura Loomer traded barbs after Greene accused Loomer of "viciously [attacking] and [lying] about those of us who are President Trump’s most loyal original MAGA supporters" from her personal X account.
"She has no long time (sic) relationships because she psychotically (sic) turns on everyone," Greene's post continued. "Laura Loomer is the most unstable person and worst liability to ever walk in the Oval Office."
Loomer has been one of the most influential people in the MAGA sphere during Trump's second term. She consulted with Trump following Signalgate and took credit for the firing of Air Force Gen. Timothy Haugh in April.
Loomer replied to Greene in a meandering series of explicitly crude and profane posts on X that ranged from Greene's infidelity in her previous marriage to calling Greene a "fake Christian."
"Trump wouldn’t endorse her Senate run either so she has chosen to welcome in Menopause with Neo Nazis and Trump hatred," Loomer wrote in one post.
"Her life has no value or meaning. Must suck to be so useless," it continued.
The spat comes at a sensitive time for the MAGA movement. Trump has sought to evade damage caused by his administration's decision not to release the Jeffrey Epstein documents, as they promised to do on the campaign trail.
Greene has expressed frustration at the decision and publicly said she feels alienated from the party because of it.
