The 2024 volleyball season ended with two huge "firsts" for Northeast Indiana teams: The Angola Hornets played in the state finals for the first time, ultimately falling 3-0 to Roncalli in the 3A title match, and just a few hours later Carroll won its first state title with a 3-0 sweep of Yorktown at Ball State's Worthen Arena.
Teams across the state can begin matches Saturday, and for the next three months Fort Wayne-area teams will likely be among the state's most exciting to watch.

Keira Dommer, Concordia: The senior setter recorded 791 assists for the Cadets last year, which puts her at 2,504 for her career. She also had 15 aces and 156 digs as a junior, and was an all-district and all-SAC selection.
Maya Harris, Angola: The senior outside hitter led the entire state in kil
