Why do we have to drain Lower Shaker Lake? When we lost the Upper Lake, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District told residents this was the master plan and we’d keep Lower Lake.

The master plan was the result of exhaustive studies that showed this was the only course of action.

Now the master plan is kaput. Why? Well, they have new information. Why now?
