GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul is considered by many in his party to be a potential candidate for governor.

But before announcing any future campaign plans, he was in Green Bay on Monday as one of 51 attorneys general across the country, joining an effort to stop illegal robocalls.

If you have a cell number, as most of us do, you’re likely looking for relief when it comes to robocalls.

For some of us, the calls come several times a day, with a warning of potential spam, but many states, including Wisconsin, are now fighting back.

“There’s billions of robocalls that happen, so the more we can do to slow this down, the better,” AG Kaul said.
