WARREN Family, friends and other community members gathered on Scott Street in Warren to honor a man killed in a shooting last week.
Choice Washington, 34, died days after a shooting on the 300 block of Scott Street on Sunday, August 3.
The community came together on Monday near the scene of the shooting to hold a candlelight vigil and balloon release to honor Washington.
Freddie Washington, Choice's father, spoke to 21 News during the event, saying that his son was the type of person who was always there for others.
"He was always there for me, he was always there for anyone that needed help," said Freddie.
Freddie told 21 News that his son will be missed.
