CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Cheektowaga police have released information about a low speed chase that went through the Town of Cheektowaga and the City of Buffalo on Saturday night.
According to a statement by the Cheektowaga Police Department, officers attempted to stop a gray Ford Escape on Pine Ridge Road in the Town of Cheektowaga at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 9.

The officers were originally attempting to pull the car over due to signs consistent with driver intoxication, police say. The car did not stop or yield to the officers, who then followed the car at speeds lower than the posted speed limits.
The incident lasted over ten minutes and went through the Town of Cheektowaga and into the C
