A juvenile was flown to a hospital after a crash that shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Harford County, according to Maryland State Police.

Emergency crews responded Monday morning to I-95 near the Maryland Route 543 exit in the Belcamp area and near the Maryland House rest area.

A medevac helicopter was called to the scene and flew a juvenile to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore. The patient’s injuries and condition were not specified.

At the time of the incident, CHART traffic cameras showed traffic delays starting after Maryland Route 24. State police said traffic was detoured through the Maryland House property. Maryland Route 7 and U.S. Route 40 were recommended as alternate routes.
