U.S. Customs and Border Protection leaders are hoping their latest technological advancement will save the hassle of long lines for U.S. Citizens. It doesn’t cost passengers any money either.

Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP) is the agency’s latest way at cutting down on wait times for people traveling back home to the U.S. and Nashville is now a part of the program.

The technology uses a facial recognition software that matches a photo taken of you at customs and matches it to your passport or I.D. to provide a complete customs assessment (biometric confirmation, eligibility, enforcement) b
