An actress was found dead in her apartment last month but due to mounting evidence, authorities believe she might have died late last year.

Humaira Asghar — a Pakistani model, actress, and artist — was discovered in her apartment on July 8 after a complaint from her landlord was received regarding unpaid rent, according to Images .

Even more troubling, her estranged family refused to accept her body.

South DIG Syed Asad Raza revealed that the body was at least several days old. But the cause of Humaira’s death has yet to be determined.

“The body is in a very advanced stage of decomposition,” said Dr. Summaiya Syed, who is part of the investigation, to Suggest. It’s also been confirmed that no conclusion has been reached regarding the cause of death.
