INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead following a shooting on the southeast side of Indianapolis late Monday.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2900 block of East Raymond Street , just east of Keystone Avenue, around 11:50 p.m. They found a male victim at the scene who had apparently been shot.

According to police, the man died at the scene of the shooting. In a later update, police said they believe the shooting was self-inflicted.

No information about a possible motive or suspect has been released at this time.
