A Long Island resident was savagely shot outside Jake’s 58 last year — and he’s now holding the Suffolk County casino’s “lax security” responsible for his brush with death.
Steffan Bumpers, of Wyandanch, was nearly killed outside the Islandia casino parking lot when 24-year-old Nashawn Legros pumped several rounds into him, while the establishment, the court filing claims, did little to protect him.
Legros was sitting in a parked car on May 31, 2024, when he saw Bumpers, 33, approaching the entrance, according to prosecutors.
