Joe Absolom recently joined the ITV soap as dodgy drug dealer Ray and the actor appeared to hint that he'll be leaving the show later this year during his appearance on Good Morning Britain

Emmerdale newcomer Joe Absolom let slip that he could be leaving the ITV soap already. ‌

The 46-year-old former EastEnders actor has joined the cast as drug dealer villain Ray and his his on-screen debut in June. ‌

So far, little is known about the latest villain to grace the Dales but viewers have seen him interact with Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) who recently returned to after doing a stint in rehabilitation. ‌

It appears Ray has set his sights on April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) as she gets closer to Dylan but it seems like the character won't be hanging around for long.
