The City of Weyburn is advising the community of a road closure that expected to impact drivers for several days.

A Voyent alert issued by the city advises that the intersection of Fifth Street northeast and Souris Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning today and will last for several days.

The closure is necessary for storm line replacement; timelines may be adjusted if conditions change.

Motorists are asked to follow posted detour signs, use an alternate route whenever possible, and allow for extra travel time when driving through the area.
