Last year, Maine saw a record-breaking year with over $9 billion spent by at least 8.5 million visitors overnight. The Maine beaches also saw a massive surge with 2.8 million visitors.

In truth, the location boasts some of the most charming small towns and offers stunning locations to suit every traveler's needs. Numbers are lower so far this year due to Canadian boycotts.
