SHREVEPORT, La. — Abounding Grace Church will welcome families and students for its annual Back 2 School Bash on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 5700 Roberts St.

The event will feature a special guest panel that includes retired NFL player Brandon Wilson, along with community leaders Romello Durden, Marc Jordan and Nicci Hardeman. Worship will be led by recording artist Jordan Hollins.

Organizers say the afternoon will combine inspiration, faith and community fun to help students start the school year strong. Attendees can expect live music, motivational talks, free giveaways and opportunities to connect with local resources.

The event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring children of all ages.
