The Apache Junction Animal Control facility reopened to the public on Aug. 12 after being closed due to persistent rodent issues.
With major repair and construction work now completed, animal control staff prepared the facility at 725 E. Baseline Ave. to resume the following services and programs upon its reopening:
Animal adoptions
Pet licensing
Donation drop-off
Volunteer interest list now open
Owner surrenders and stray animal drop-offs will be temporarily limited upon reopening and will last through Friday, Sept. 12, with the exception of emergencies.
