Weyburn-Bengough MLA Mike Weger has been busy so far this summer, splitting his time between community events within the constituency and also representing Saskatchewan on a larger stage.

One of the highlights of Weger's summer was being back in the community and participating in local events. Talking with Discover Weyburn Tuesday morning, he mentioned he enjoyed walking the entire length of the parade route to kick off the Weyburn fair, shaking hands and handing out candy.

"That was just a really fun event that's going to be one of the highlights of my summer," Weger said.
