It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Elsie Braithwaite on July 1, 2025, in Campbell River, British Columbia, at the age of 86.

Elsie was a woman of extraordinary warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering love. She was so deeply loved by her family—and she loved them back one hundredfold. Her presence was a steady source of comfort, kindness, and humour, and her devotion to those she held dear knew no limits.

Elsie lived a life rooted in care and generosity, offering a listening ear, a thoughtful word, or a soul touching hug. Her love was never loud, but always powerful. She taught her family the true meaning of unconditional support and grace.
