DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A Slocomb man was indicted by a grand jury on charges alleging he caused a deadly crash that killed his wife and daughter in 2024.
Sheriff Tony Helms confirmed to WDHN that Wesley Ty Cobb was booked into the Geneva County Jail after turning himself in on Monday, August 11, on two counts of criminally negligent homicide. He bonded out of jail that same morning.
These charges come after the grand jury indicted Cobb last Wednesday.
Cobb is accused of causing a July 2024 crash that killed his 26-year-old wife, Tiffany, who was pronounced dead on the scene, and their 6-year-old daughter, Rylan, who died four days later at a Birmingham hospital.
